Celtic have signed Turkey international Colin Kazim-Richards from Feyenoord.
The 29-year-old was free to leave the Rotterdam giants after allegedly threatening a journalist and has signed a two and a half year deal with the Parkhead side.
The well travelled forward arrived in Glasgow this afternoon and told Sky Sports News: “I think I can bring a lot to Celtic.
“We have to get the final details sorted then hopefully I can be in the green and white.”
Following a successful loan spell with Feyenoord last season, Kazim-Richards joined the Rotterdam giants on a permanent deal in the summer, however, the move has not worked out this season and after just one goal in 11 games, coupled with his off-field problems, Feyenoord are happy to let him leave.
London-born Kazim Richards has 37 caps for Turkey and is hoping for a successful stint in Glasgow to ensure his place at Euro 2016 this summer.
