SFA compliance officer Tony McGlennan has until 3pm today to issue any notices of complaint in the wake of Caley Thistle’s controversial 3-1 victory against Aberdeen on Monday.
Dons manager Derek McInnes accused Inverness midfielder Ross Draper of conning referee Willie Collum in winning the penalty Greg Tansey coverted to put Caley Jags 2-1 ahead.
McInnes said: “It’s clearly not a penalty. Their player has tried to con the referee and he’s conned him.
“It’s a dive, there’s simply no contact there. He’s gone down under no contact and the referee has assumed there is contact.”
McGlennan may take retrospective action to cite Draper for simulation, but could also issue a notice of complaint against McInnes, with Inverness manager John Hughes handed a one-match suspension earlier this season for comments criticising referee Andrew Dallas following a 1-1 draw against Dundee in August.
