Midfielder Jonny Hayes is back in contention for the Dons after making a rapid recovery from his hamstring injury.
The Irishman was injured during his side’s Premiership defeat at Caley Thistle two weeks ago.
Manager Derek McInnes, who has midfielder Craig Storie available again after injury and full back Shay Logan free from suspension for tonight’s trip to Dundee United, said: “Jonny is very close. He has done a lot of work with the physio today and we were hoping on Saturday night he might be able to join in with the rest of the players, but he will be ready for Partick Thistle next Tuesday if he keeps going the way he’s going, no doubt about that.
“It’s probably ahead of schedule. It was two weeks ago last night that he got injured. We thought at the time it would be three to four weeks at best. If there was a game at the weekend I think he’d be ready for that.”
