Celtic are reportedly considering a move to make Nigel Pearson the club’s new manager.
Reports in the Express today suggest that the former Leicester boss is being considered for the role after a season out of the game.
David Moyes has been installed as the bookie’s favourite to replace Ronny Deila, while Roy Keane, Steve Clarke, Malky Mackay and Neil Lennon have also been linked with the job.
Pearson who left Leicester last June is the current favourite to replace Remi Garde at Aston Villa but could be tempted by the prospect of European football if Celtic come calling.
While odds have been cut on Pearson, the odds on ex-Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers getting the job have drifted out to 16/1.
