Clyde manager Barry Ferguson has told his injury-plagued squad to chase goals in the League 1 play-off semi-final first leg at Broadwood tonight.
The Bully Wee could have seven players missing but Ferguson will be positive against the Moray men.
He said: “Elgin are a good team and led the league for a good period. We will go out and attack them but we recognise it will be a tough game.
“We need to try to take the game to them. They are very strong at home but have shown recently they can be strong on the road.”
Ferguson’s side secured their play-off place with a 3-1 win against Stirling Albion at the weekend and is looking for more of the same. He added: “We played some really good football and I am asking for the same again. We let ourselves down in the run-in but the players proved a point at the weekend.
“There was a real determination to win on Saturday and we will need that level of determination again. I took a gamble with a small squad this season and we will be low on numbers as we have players out and both Mark McLaughlin and John Gemmell picked up injuries against Stirling.”
With Scott Durie, Brian McQueen, Jon-Paul McGovern, Sean Higgins and Scott Ferguson already out
McLaughlin and Gemmell will be given fitness tests.
