Aberdeen linked with move for former Dundee United defender

Aberdeen have today been linked with a move for former Dundee United defender Callum Morris.
Derek McInnes is looking to strengthen his squad this summer and has already added to his attacking options with the captures of Jayden Stockley and Miles Storey and he is now turning his attention to bulking up his defence.
The Daily Record report that one of his defensive targets is 26-year-old Morris who was one of a host of players freed by United at the end of the season.
The commanding central defender would offer McInnes another option in the heart of his defence but would first need to prove his fitness after a number of injury problems at United.
Morris spent his youth career at Newcastle United but was released as a 20-year-old having failed to make an appearance for the first team.
The defender then spent time with the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain, before returning to England to join Hayes and Yeading and then moving to Scotland in 2012 to join Dunfermline.
After two years with the Pars, Morris moved to United but was freed at the end of the campaign and could now be Pittodrie bound.
