Bookmaker Paddy Power has slashed the odds on Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic joining Celtic this summer.
Zlatan has confirmed he will leave PSG but fans are still waiting to see where the star striker will end up for the start of next season.
Paddy Power have today slashed the odds on him joining Celtic down to 7/4 despite the club previously being thought to have little-to-no chance of securing his signature.
Manchester United still remain the odds-on favourite but with bookies now seeing the the SPFL Champions as a likely destination, football fans will be salivating at the thought of watching one of the world’s top strikers gracing the Scottish game.
Although Ibrahimovic’s wage demands are thought to be out of Celtic’s capacity, the veteran striker has spoken warmly of the notion of finishing his career in Glasgow in the past.
Speaking in 2013, he said: “Celtic is a club with a big tradition and a place any top player would want to end their career. How could I say I wouldn’t want to play for those fans every week?”
