Aberdeen will kick off the 2016/17 Premiership season against St Johnstone in Perth on Saturday, August 6.
The Dons will face Old Firm duo Celtic and Rangers on August 27 and September 24 respectively.
The first Old Firm clash of the new campaign will be on September 10 at Celtic Park.
Elsewhere, Inverness Caledonian Thistle will begin away at Partick Thistle on Saturday, August 6.
And fellow north club Ross Count have been handed an opening day home tie against Dundee.
In an online statement, a SPFL spokesman said “it promises to be an exciting season across all four divisions of the SPFL”.
“The Ladbrokes Premiership, Ladbrokes Championship, Ladbrokes League 1 and Ladbrokes League 2 all get under way on the weekend of Saturday, August 6.”
Relegated Dundee United will begin their spell in the Championship at home to Queen of the South.
Elsewhere Scottish Cup champions Hiberian, fresh from their Hampden triumph, face The Bairns at Falkirk Stadium.
Jim McInally’s north-east side Peterhead FC kick off away to Alloa Athletic in their effort to repeat last season’s promotion push in League 1.
And in League 2 Elgin City start with a clash away at Cowdenbeath
Edinburgh City – the newest team in the SPFL after their promotion from the Lowland League – are at home to Forfar on the opening day.
