Iceland’s official kit supplier have revealed that they are struggling to meet the demand of shirt sales generated by the nation’s incredible Euro 2016 run.
But although demand has come from new fans all over the continent, Italian sportswear company Errea confirmed that things have “gone crazy” since Iceland knocked England out of the competition – with thousands of orders coming from north of the border.
Fabrizio Taddei, export manager for Errea, told the Times: “We are having huge demand and since Iceland beat England, it has gone crazy.
“There have been thousands and thousands of orders from Scotland…but there is also demand from all over Europe.”
