You may have thought the bookies had already generated the most outrageous transfer rumour of the season when they made Celtic favourites to sign Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

- Gary Woods has joined Hamilton Accies on a one-year deal. He spent last season on loan at Ross County.
- Craig Beattie has been confirmed as an Edinburgh City player. The club have also signed ex-Hibs goalkeeper Calum Antell.
- Former Aberdeen midfielder Derek Young has moved to the Highland League and joined Formartine United.

- France midfielder Paul Pogba, 23, is set to complete his move to Manchester United for a world record £112m, with a Juventus source saying the deal is done. (Sun)
- Everton defender John Stones, 22, is set to join Manchester City for £50m – and the deal could be finalised this week. (Daily Mail)
- Chelsea have made a bid of £38m for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly. Everton are also interested in the centre back, but Chelsea are favourites to sign the defender. (Daily Mirror)

And Finally…
NK Maribor midfielder Marwan Khaba revealed Celtic’s Nir Bitton has given him the inside track on Derek McInnes’ Aberdeen.
The 25-year-old knows the Hoops player from their time playing together for the Israeli under-21 national team.
And Khaba says Bitton has warned him to expect a difficult 90 minutes at Pittodrie in this evening’s Europa League third qualifying round first leg tie, which is expected to be watched by 18,000 supporters.
