The bid from the Dons’ Premiership rivals would have seen Wright move to Inverness on loan for the rest of the season. Caley Thistle are understood to be looking to strengthen their attacking options but Derek McInnes wants to keep the youngster at Pittodrie. The 19-year-old has a year left on his current deal and Aberdeen are keen to keep him around the first-team fold. Caley Thistle have struggled early in the seasons after losing their first two Premiership games and being knocked out of the Betfred Cup by Alloa.
