Aberdeen have today been linked with a move for Norwich City starlet James Maddison.
Derek McInnes is on the hunt for a midfield ace to replace injured skipper Ryan Jack and reports say the Dons boss has now turned his attention to Maddison.
The Press and Journal revealed earlier today that McInnes had ruled out a move for former Rangers man Jamie Ness but a move for the Norwich City teenager could still be on the cards.
Maddison, 19, was signed by Norwich from League One Coventry City on a three-and-a-half- year-deal in January, and loaned back to the Sky Blues for the rest of the season.
The teenager made 31 appearances for Coventry, scoring four times and made his Norwich debut in a 6-1 Capital Cup win this season – against his old club Coventry.
