James Maddison has set his sights on being Aberdeen’s entertainer after his move to Pittodrie.
The 19-year-old midfielder is confident he can make a strong impression in his time in Scottish football.
He said: “I like to get supporters off their seats and hopefully I can bring some attacking flair to the team.
“I’d like to think I’m an attacking, creative midfielder who can bring some assists and goals to the team.”
The teenager, who joined the Canaries from Coventry in February could have stayed in England but said: “I’m coming to gain first team experience.
“I had offers from League One clubs but I feel as if I’ve already done that and coming to the Premiership and a club the size of Aberdeen will be really good for me.
“I spoke to Steven Whittaker and a few of the Scottish players here and they spoke highly about Scottish football and after speaking to the manager (Alex Neil) it was a no-brainer to come and play for Aberdeen.”
