A football fan has created the perfect gift for Aberdeen fans – a Lego version of Pittodrie Stadium.
Chris Smith, founder of company Brickstand, designed the toy after receiving a request from a keen Dons supporter.
He originally set out to recreate the grounds of all 92 English league club but soon turned his attention north due to popular demand.
“I’ve had a great reaction from people in Aberdeen,” Chris said.
“I’m looking to make one for every Scottish Premiership side but so far have only got as far as Aberdeen, Hearts, Rangers and Celtic.
“The Aberdeen ones have been by far the most popular – they’re even more popular than the ones for English sides.”
Chris has been so impressed with the response to his Lego Pittodrie that he even visited the Granite City to take in the stadium in person.
“I came up last season to watch a match against Dundee United,” he said.
“I absolutely loved it. It’s an old school ground so there’s definitely a different feel to it.
“Fans in Scotland are passionate about their football and I think that coupled with the stadium design is what makes the Pittodrie model so special.”
