A man has been charged in connection with an incident where a fan was allegedly struck by two chairs during Aberdeen’s Scottish Premiership clash with Rangers.
The 21-year-old, from the Dundee area, has been charged by police following an appeal for information about the incident, which happened after the final whistle at Pittodrie on September 25.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and he will appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date.
Senior Investigating Officer Detective Inspector Stuart McAdam said: “I would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in sharing our original appeal.”
It’s the latest of several arrests made following the game, which Aberdeen won 2-1.
