Cardiff City are pondering a £500,000 bid for Dons star Jonny Hayes, according to reports.
The 29-year-old has been a star player for Aberdeen this season and is believed to be in discussions to extend his current deal at the club in 2018.
The former Leicester and Reading player scored the winner on Friday as the Dons beat Hearts to go third in the table, just two points – with a game in hand – behind Rangers.
Losing Hayes would be a major blow for Dons boss Derek McInnes as he faces a January transfer window with a number of first team stars pondering their options.
Some of the Dons best performers, including skipper Ryan Jack and Northern Ireland international Niall McGinn, have contracts expiring in the summer leaving them free to talk to other clubs now.
