Dons fans have been voted the best travelling supporters in Scotland.
The Red Army came top in a nationwide poll organised by the Scottish Football Association which asked supporters to name the best away fans.
Fans in the Granite City have been praised for the loyal support in the face of postponed matches and kick-off times re-arranged to suit live television broadcasts.
Gordon Duncan, spokesman for AFC fans group Dons Supporters Together, said he was pleased their efforts had been recognised.
He told the Evening Express: “It’s not news that AFC has a magnificent travelling support but it is great to see it being recognised with this national award.
“The challenges facing travelling fans can be considerable given the geography, the frequency with which fixtures are moved for TV coverage and the relatively poor public transport links. This makes the award all the more impressive.”
