Former Dons star Jamie Langfield has revealed his revulsion today after hoaxers phoned in a bomb scare at his daughter’s school.
Ralston Primary School in Paisley had to be evacuated after police were called to investigate a ‘suspicious package’.
Officers received a tip via an anonymous phone call but police investigating the scene now believed the message was a hoax.
Langfield, who spent ten years playing for the Dons and made 278 appearances for the Pittodrie side said he was “sick to the stomach” after finding out about the incident.
He tweeted: “Some absolute sick vile people out there. Bomb scare at my daughter’s school today, kids and parents sick to the stomach [sic]. All for a hoax.”
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “We can confirm that police were called to an incident believed to be a malicious call at a school in Paisley around 10.50am this morning.
