Aberdeen are reportedly close to securing a loan move for former St Johnstone and Scotland striker Stevie May.
The 24-year-old is currently plying his trade with Preston North End but rumours have circulated today of a temporary switch to the Granite City.
Aberdeen today refused to comment but Derek McInnes has confirmed he is looking to add to his squad after Wes Burns returned to parent club Bristol City.
“You will find out who that player is when the deal is done,” he said.
May came through the ranks at St Johnstone and won the 2014 Scottish Cup with the Perth side.
