Derek McInnes has moved to reassure fans that his mind remains focused on the job at hand at Pittodrie.
The Dons boss has been linked with the vacant manager’s position at Rangers following the resignation of Mark Warburton.
McInnes, who previously played for the Ibrox club, remains one of the favourites for the job but said his interests lie squarely in the Granite City.
Speaking to the club’s official website, McInnes said: “I’ve never been one to speak about speculation and my focus is totally on Aberdeen and the game against Motherwell.
“Rangers are a strong club and will always attract people but all I’m interested in is Aberdeen.
