A furious Mark McGhee raged at Aberdeen fans last night after suffering one his worst nights in football management.
The Motherwell manager was forced to watch as him team crumbled to a 7-2 defeat to Derek McInnes’ side.
But things got worse for the former Aberdeen player after he was sent to the stands following a blazing row with the fourth official.
As he made his way towards the fans, he was greeted by cheers by Dons supporters who shouted “clown” and beckoned him to take a seat.
Dons legend McGhee joined the Pittodrie side in 1979 and would go on to make 164 appearances over five years, winning the 1983 European Cup Winners’ Cup and 1983 UEFA Super Cup, as well as three Scottish Premier Division titles
