Aberdeen captain Ryan Jack faces a race to make the Scottish Cup final after suffering a groin injury.
The midfielder, who is out of contract in the summer, missed his side’s win at Hearts yesterday and manager Derek McInnes is unsure whether his captain will be fit for the game against Celtic at Hampden on May 27.
McInnes said: “It is a real blow for us at this stage of the season.
“We are hoping he will be back in two or three weeks but he will be touch and go for the cup final.
“It is hard for Ryan but hopefully he will recover in time. There is a slight tear there but at this stage it is impossible to tell. The medical staff tell me it’s touch and go but I can’t pretend it’s not a worry.”
