Aberdeen have reportedly opened talks with Celtic winger Gary Mackay-Steven over a move to Pittodrie.
The winger is thought to be Derek McInnes’ ideal replacement for departing Niall McGinn.
Mackay-Steven joined the Glasgow club in a £250,000 deal from Dundee United in January 2015 but has struggled to make an impact under Brendan Rogers.
The Dons have also recently been linked with a move for Hull City and Scotland international Shaun Maloney – with the Aberdeen-born veteran available on a free transfer in the summer.
Derek McInnes has not commented on the transfer speculation – but sources close to the club have said talks are on-going with both players.
