Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has criticised Aberdeen after conceding defeat in his pursuit of Dons midfielder Jonny Hayes.
The Championship side had two bids rejected for the 29-year-old in January and is believed to have made a recent offer of £1.2million.
But Warnock has now turned his attention to new targets following a lack of progress with the Dons over Hayes, who has been heavily linked with a move to Celtic.
He said: “You can only wait for so long and you’ve got to move on.
“Aberdeen want two players from Celtic and they’ve been messing us around for quite a few weeks now.
“it wouldn’t surprise me if their manager Derek McInnes goes to Sunderland, either – there might be other motives behind everything stalling.
“We’ve moved on and gone on to another one or two targets who haven’t been mentioned yet.”
