Birmingham City are interested in signing Dons star Kenny McLean, according to reports.
Blues boss Harry Redknapp was in Scotland last month to watch former target Jonny Hayes, but new reports suggest he could be ready to look again at Kenny McLean – a player he previously admitted his admiration for.
Speaking last week, Redknapp said: “Kenny McLean also caught my eye. He’s good on the ball, makes a pass, gets into the box well.
“There are a few people down here speaking about him.
“McLean and Hayes were the two players mentioned to me before I went up to Glasgow.”
Former St Mirren player McLean made 52 appearances last season, scoring five times.
He is understood to be a key part of Derek McInnes’ plans at Pittodrie and the Dons boss would be reluctant to see him leave.
