Aberdeen captain Graeme Shinnie has been given a Scotland call-up – despite being listed as his brother Andrew in Malky Mackay’s squad.
Interim manager Mackay will take charge of the national team for the friendly against the Netherlands at Pittodrie next week.
Shinnie, who was constantly overlooked by former manager Gordon Strachan, is joined in the squad by clubmates Kenny McLean and Ryan Christie, who is on loan at the Dons from Celtic.
Former Aberdeen captain Ryan Jack, now at Rangers, has also been selected. In the original announcement there was no place in the squad for Scotland captain Scott Brown.
But he has since appeared in the revised version.
