McGinn relishing his return to first-team action with Aberdeen FC

Niall McGinn is relishing his return to first-team action with Aberdeen.
The Northern Ireland international sealed his return to Pittodrie yesterday by putting pen to paper on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
It starts his second spell with the Dons, after leaving the reds in the summer for a stint with South Korean K League side Gwangju FC. However the move did not work out, with the team getting relegated and McGinn struggling for games.
He secured his release in November and enjoyed some time off over the last six weeks before his move to Aberdeen was announced yesterday.
McGinn said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be back. I enjoyed my time off and it was my first Christmas at home for nine or 10 years. I’m happy to get things done and dusted and looking forward to focusing on football again.”
