Aberdeen have confirmed the signing of Hamilton captain Mikey Devlin.
The 24-year-old central defender, who spent 18 months at the Pittodrie as a teenager, joins the club for an undisclosed fee having played almost 150 games for Hamilton Accies.
A statement from the Dons said Mikey will continue his rehabilitation from injury under the supervision of the Pittodrie medical staff and hopes to be playing again within a couple of months.
Devlin said: “Derek McInnes didn’t have to sell the club to me. As soon as I heard of Aberdeen’s interest I couldn’t wait to join the Dons to hopefully win trophies and play regular European football.”
