Dons host St Mirren and Staggies travel to Hibernian in last 16 of Betfred Cup

Aberdeen will take on St Mirren at Pittodrie in the last 16 of the Betfred Cup.

The draw for the second round of the competition was made following today’s meeting between Hearts and Caley Thistle. The Jambos defeated John Robertson’s side 5-0 to qualify at the expense of Inverness.

Ross County were dealt a difficult draw. They will travel to Easter Road to take on Hibernian in a repeat of the 2016 League Cup final, which the Staggies won 2-1.

The ties will take place on the weekend of August 18.
