Aberdeen are hoping to sign Derby County left back Max Lowe on loan before Friday’s transfer deadline.
The 21-year-old is the third choice left back at Frank Lampard’s side behind recent arrival Scott Malone from Huddersfield and four-times capped Scotland international Craig Forsyth.
The player has been made available for loan and the Dons are keen to bring the player to Pittodrie.
Lowe, who made 16 appearances during a loan spell at Shrewsbury last season, came on as a substitute for the Rams in last night’s 4-0 victory against Hull City in the EFL Cup.
