The Betfred Cup semi-finals will both be played at Hampden on the same day after the SPFL decided to stage both ties at the National Stadium on Sunday, October 28.
Aberdeen will face Rangers in the lunchtime kick-off with the other semi-final between Celtic and Hearts scheduled to be played later that evening.
Neither semi-final can be played on Saturday, October 27 due to Rangers and Celtic’s involvement in the Europa League. Both clubs will be on European duty on October 25.
Police Scotland have given their approval to staging both games at the national stadium and the stage is now set for a Super Sunday.
The Dons v Gers tie will kick-off at noon with the other match between the Hoops and the Jambos kicking off at 7.45pm.
