Aberdeen FC has confirmed it has sold its allocation of tickets for the League Cup semi-final.
The club confirmed it has sold “just over” 10,000 tickets for Sunday’s tie against Rangers.
It comes after the Dons were ridiculed for failing to sell their half of the tickets last week, despite complaining about their initial allocation.
After receiving a larger amount of saleable tickets, extra seats have now been retracted by the football authority – prompting the club and boss Derek McInnes to make the plea to fans.
The Betfred Cup semi-final between Aberdeen and Rangers kicks off at Hampden Park on Sunday at 4.30pm.
