Aberdeen have been linked with a loan move for Celtic winger Lewis Morgan.
The Scottish under-21 international has been told he can leave on loan to gain game time by Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers and that has alerted both the Dons and Hibernian.
Dons boss Derek McInnes said: “We have lots of conversations with managers and I’ve no comment to make regarding Lewis Morgan. It’s my job to keep my ear to the ground.”
Morgan’s former club St Mirren want to bring him back to Paisley but Hoops boss Rodgers has ruled that out while Nottingham Forest and Hull City are also tracking the winger.
Rodgers said: “We’ve spoken about the idea of going on loan but he has a number of possibilities.
“He loved his time at St Mirren but if he moves out then it will be somewhere different.”
