Aberdeen could face a short trip to Ireland or Wales in the first qualifying round of the Europa League.
The Dons have been seeded for the draw, which will be made at 2.30pm tomorrow after their list of potential opponents was whittled down by Uefa.
Following the pot arrangements the Dons will face one of eight unseeded teams. They are Liepaja of Latvia, Estonian side Levadia Tallinn, St Patrick’s of Ireland, RoPS Rovaniemi of Finland and the winners of two preliminary ties, Barry Town of Wales v Cliftonville of Northern Ireland, and Faroese club KI or Tre Fiori of San Marino.
Rangers could face a rematch with Progres Niekderkorn, the side which inflicted the Ibrox club’s worse ever result two years ago, if the Luxembourg club beats Welsh side Cardiff Met Uni in the preliminary round.
Other potential opponents are B36 Torshavn of the Faroes, Finnish club Inter Turku, KR Reykjavik from Iceland and the winner of the prelimary round tie between Prishtina of Kosovo and St Joseph’s of Gibraltar.
Kilmarnock, who appointed Angelo Alessio as their new manager on Sunday, could face Shamrock Rovers of the Republic of Ireland, Connah’s Quay Nomads of Wales, KuPS of Finland, Icelandic club Breidablik or the winners of the preliminary round tie between Northern Irish club Ballymena United or NSI of the Faroe Islands.
