Aberdeen will face Fola Esch of Luxembourg or Chikhura Sachkere of Georgia in the second qualifying round of the Europa League if they win their first round tie following today’s draw in Nyon.
The Dons played Fola Esch two years ago in the competition, winning 3-2 on aggregate.
RoPS Rovaniemi of Finland stand between Derek McInnes’s side and a place in the second qualifying round of the Europa League next month.
Subject to approval by Uefa, Pittodrie will host the first leg on July 11 with the Dons travelling to the 4,000 capacity Rovaniemen Keskuskentta stadium for the second leg a week later.
The winners will be at home in the first leg on Thursday, July 25 with the second leg taking place a week later on Thursday, August 1.
The third qualifying round draw will take place on July 22.
