Aberdeen to start the 2019-20 Scottish Premiership season with a home match against Hearts

Aberdeen will start the 2019-20 Scottish Premiership season with a home match against Hearts on August 3.

The Dons will then travel to St Mirren on August 10 and Kilmarnock on August 24 before hosting newly-promoted Ross County on August 31.

Following a home game against St Johnstone on September 14 and an away fixture at Livingston on September 21, Derek McInnes’ side will travel to Ibrox to face Rangers on September 28.

Their first league match of the season against Celtic will be at Pittodrie on October 26. Aberdeen’s other matches against Celtic will be at Parkhead on December 21 and on February 15 2020 at Pittodrie.

The Reds will meet Rangers for the second time at Pittodrie on December 4 (7.45pm kick-off) before heading back to Ibrox on February 1.

Champions Celtic will face St Johnstone on the opening weekend of the season on August 3, while Rangers will travel to Kilmarnock the following day. Hibernian will start the new campaign at Easter Road against St Mirren, while Livingston will host Motherwell.

Ross County return to the top tier with a home match against Hamilton.

The first Old Firm derby of the season will take place when Celtic travel to Ibrox to meet Steven Gerrard’s side. The Hoops will host Rangers on December 29 before returning to Ibrox on March 14.
