Aberdeen will take on Rijeka if they see off Georgian outfit Chikhura Sachkhere in the Europa League second qualifying round.
The Dons, who saw off RoPS Rovaniemi last week in Finland, would play the first leg in Croatia on August 8, with the return leg at Pittodrie on August 15. The winner would then advance to the play-off round.
They beat Rijeka in the 2015 iteration of the competition, with the Dons winning 3-0 in Croatia and drawing 2-2 back in Aberdeen.
Derek McInnes’ side take on Chikhura this week in Tblisi at the 54,000-seater Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena, as their home ground in Sachkhere does not meet Uefa standards. The game kicks off at 5.45pm UK time on Thursday, with the game being screened line by Premier Sports.
The return leg takes place at Pittodrie on August 1, with the winner advancing to the two-legged tie with Rijeka.
They are bidding to reach the Europa League group stages for the first time. The furthest Aberdeen have advanced in the competition is the third qualifying round.
