The Dons are in Tbilisi in search for a win against Georgian opposition in Chikhura Sachkhere in the Europa League tonight.
The dream of reaching the Europa League group stages is still alive for Aberdeen as they take on the Erovnuli Liga (Georgia’s premier division) side in the competition’s second round.
The Dons got this far after breezing past Finnish side RoPS Rovaniemi with a 4-2 aggregate win in their first qualifying tie.
THE OPPOSITION
FC Chikhura Sachkhere were founded in 1938 but disbanded and reformed following World War II.
Their biggest successes are their 2017 Georgian Cup win and their 2013 Georgian Super Cup win.
Despite the cup success, a first title still eludes Chikhura, who finished fourth during the 2018 season.

Dons fans who couldn’t make the trip should not worry as the game will feature on the television.
