Stevie May is back training at Aberdeen after his failed move to St Johnstone.
A return to Perth had appeared set in stone but the move collapsed at the last minute over the weekend.
Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes said May will be involved in the first team and it was now up to the player and his agent to sort out his next move.
McInnes said: “I don’t think it has been perfect for him but you just have to deal with it. I think in his mind he thought the St Johnstone deal was going to happen for him and he’s had to pick himself up from that real disappointment.
“I have spoken to a few managers over the last few days who like him and still want him. There is still enough interest in him that he will have enough options.
“It’s down to Stevie and his agent now to get something sorted.”
