Aberdeen could face a quick return to Georgia if they manage to overcome HNK Rijeka in the Europa League’s third qualifying round.
The Dons defeated Georgian side Chikhura Sachkhere 6-1 on aggregate thanks to a 5-0 victory at Pittodrie last night with Sam Cosgrove netting a hat-trick.
Derek McInnes’ side take on HNK Rijeka in Croatia in the first leg on Thursday but they will discover their potential opponents should they progress before then.
The draw for the Europa League play-off round will be made in Nyon on Monday and the Dons are unseeded.
They could face a return to Georgia but Dinamo Tbilisi would have to pull off an upset by knocking out Dutch side Feyenoord.
Derek McInnes’ side and Rijeka could face Czech side Sparta Prague or Trabzonspor from Turkey; Feyenoord (Netherlands) or DInamo Tibilisi (Georgia) AEK Larnaca or Gent (Belgium); Luzern (Switzerland) or Espanyol (Spain).
The draw will take place at 12.30pm on Monday.
