Aberdeen goalkeeper Danny Rogers has joined Championship side Morton on loan for the rest of the season.
Rogers is third-choice at Pittodrie behind Joe Lewis and Tomas Cerny and the Dons are keen for him to get game-time.
The academy product had a loan spell at Premiership side St Mirren last season but played only five games following a knee injury. He has had previous stints at Airdrieonians, Dumbarton and Falkirk.
Rogers has made three senior appearances for the Dons, which came after Lewis broke his leg during the 2017-18 season. They subsequently signed Freddie Woodman on loan from Newcastle and he took over between the posts until Lewis returned.
The 25-year-old is out of contract at Pittodrie at the end of the season.
Ton boss David Hopkin said: “We are delighted to get a player of Danny’s calibre in for the season.
“We have been working behind the scenes for many weeks to strengthen the squad and Danny has been one we have managed to get over the line with the help of Derek McInnes.
“It’s going to be great to see Sam (Ramsbottom) and Danny challenging for the number one spot and it will bring us plenty of options in the goalkeeping position.”
