Aberdeen FC Women co-managers Emma Hunter and Harley Hamdani were proud of their team after completing their title-winning season without losing a single game.
The Dons ended the campaign in style with a 6-1 victory against Dunfermline Athletic at Aberdeen Sports Village yesterday.
Johan Fraser, Chloe Gover (2), Eva Thomson, Bayley Hutchison and Eilidh Shore were on target as the Reds eased to victory before being presented with the SWFL Division One North trophy after the game.
Hunter believes the Dons are ready to make the step up to SWPL2 next season.
She said: “The objective was always to get out of the league and get up into SWPL2.
“It was about how we developed as a team and our style of play. To go the whole season unbeaten in the league and have a good run in the Scottish Cup is a huge bonus.
“The girls deserve a lot of credit. They have bought into what Harley and I have said we can do.
“We have trusted each other and that is part of the reason why we have been so successful.
“We are looking forward to making the step up to the SWPL2. The challenge will be that little bit more difficult but we know to expect that.”
The Dons started the season as clear favourites for the title but Hamdani has been encouraged by the way his young side have dealt with the pressure.
He said: “We probably don’t appreciate how special it is. We set out at the beginning of the season to win the league, be promoted and to achieve that in our own way of playing.
“But to do it in such a manner by finishing the season undefeated is such a nice feeling. We are so proud of how far each of the girls have come this season.
“We have grown so much as a team and we have some exciting times ahead. We have thrived on the pressure.
“We maybe didn’t know quite what to expect in the first few games as a group of players and as new coaches coming in. As the season went on, the pressure reduced because we know what we were capable of.
“We are delighted but we know we can get better. The momentum is with us next season.”
Elsewhere in Division One North, Cove Rangers defeated Kelty Hearts 8-2, while Inverness Caledonian Thistle won 4-2 at Buchan Ladies.
Westdyke Ladies stormed to a 9-1 win at Deveronvale, while Stonehaven Ladies were beaten 6-1 by East Fife.
