Aberdeen have reportedly completed the signing of St Johnstone midfielder Matty Kennedy.
The Dons had agreed a pre-contract with the Scotland youth international earlier this month but manager Derek McInnes was keen to bring Kennedy to Pittodrie earlier than planned.
Kennedy should be signed in time for Sunday’s game against St Mirren and will become their third signing of the window, after the additions of Dylan McGeouch and teenager Mark Gallagher. Jon Gallagher’s loan from Atlanta United had also been extended.
Aberdeen had also been linked to Wolves winger Ryan Giles and Burton Albion forward Liam Boyce. However, the latter looks set to join Hearts.
