Buckie Thistle were beaten 1-0 by an Aberdeen under-20s team in Kevin Small’s testimonial match at Victoria Park.
The Jags squad included guest appearances from Jamie Shewan, Stephen Bruce, Colin Milne and Zander Sutherland.
A good turnout witnessed a quiet first half, with Andy Low coming closest for the home side after 36 minutes, Dons goalkeeper Robbie Mutch pushing his effort wide.
Man-of-the-moment Small and Munro were replaced at half-time and it was Aberdeen who took the lead on 60 minutes when Michael Rose headed home.
Small came back on towards the end to a rousing reception from the Jags faithful, but despite their best efforts they could not find a way past the Dons rearguard.
