Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes believes Ryan Jack has become the complete midfielder at Pittodrie.
The former Scotland under-21 international has become a key player in the Dons midfield under McInnes.
As the Dons prepare to return to action on Saturday at St Johnstone following their free weekend McInnes is delighted to see Jack realising his potential by becoming a leader on the pitch.
He said: “Ryan has come back strong this season and we’re really pleased with the level of performances he is producing.
“He has played at right back before but we see him as a centre midfielder and when you play there you have to bring responsibility and personality to get people playing around about you and he has that.
“He can do a bit of everything. He has a good range of passing, is technically very good with both feet, has a good turn of pace and he competes well.
“He has everything you want from a modern midfielder.”
