Aberdeen will look to continue their Premiership hot streak this afternoon when they host Kilmarnock at Pittodrie.

The Dons have lost just twice in their last 11 Premiership matches while Kilmarnock are without a win in seven matches in all competitions.

today after recovering from a hip injury.
  • Cammy Smith  remains a doubt with his calf strain.
  • Willo Flood, Nicky Low, Clark Robertson, Russell Anderson and Craig Storie remain sidelined for the Dons.

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes

“The players are in a confident frame of mind. They are itching for the next game to come, as always seems to be the case when you are in decent form.

We said at the start of the month this was going to be an
important period for us.

“Kilmarnock have good forward options and good experience within the team and if our performance is any less than we expect then the three points become vulnerable.

“I feel they have too many good players for their run to continue for too long.We just have to make sure they get their next win somewhere else and not here.

“We are confident that if we play well then there is every chance we can get the result we want.”

Kilmarnock manager Allan Johnston

“Confidence always dips when you start losing a few games and you can see that in our play now.

“But the last few weeks have been much more encouraging. We created a number of chances against St Johnstone but we just need to make sure we are more clinical.”
