Aberdeen are facing a stern challenge to land two of the strikers on their wishlist.
The Dons have had an offer accepted for Norwegian striker Tobias Lauritsen, whose deal at Odds expires on December 31.
The Press and Journal understands the accepted offer is in the region of £300,000.
Sparta Rotterdam are the favourites to land the attacker, 24, who has scored four goals in 11 appearances this season.
Lauritsen wants to keep his options open and Odds are also reluctant to let the player leave before the Norwegian window opens on August 1.
Bojan Miovski is another attacker on Aberdeen’s radar.
The Macedonian international has one year left on his deal at Hungarian side MTK Budapest.
But the Dons face stiff competition from fellow Hungarian side Fehervar for the player’s signature.
Fehervar finished fourth in the Hungarian top-flight last season to qualify for the Europa Conference League.
Their head coach is German Michael Boris, who previously worked with Miovski at MTK, and the chance to be reunited with his former coach could swing the deal in Fehervar’s favour.
The Dons have made four signings during the summer transfer window with defensive midfielder Ylber Ramadani Jim Goodwin’s first signing as Dons boss.
Celtic defender Liam Scales moved to Pittodrie on Tuesday on a season-long loan with the Dons hoping that this is the first step towards the Irishman making a permanent switch to Aberdeen in the longer term.
The experienced defender will join the Dons on a two-year deal next month.
After bolstering his defence, Goodwin is now turning his attention to strengthening his attacking options for the new campaign.
The Dons face Buckie Thistle at Victoria Park on Saturday in a testimonial match for Jags boss Graeme Stewart before flying out to Spain for a training camp in Alicante next week.
They begin the season on July 10 against Peterhead at Balmoor in the Premier Sports Cup.
