You can now watch our full Aberlanta and Beyond interview with Aberdeen FC commercial director Rob Wicks, director of football Steven Gunn and business development manager Robbie Hedderman on the club’s strategic partnerships.
Over the past week, the Press and Journal has been exploring the Dons’ relationship with Major League Soccer (MLS) side Atlanta United, and their plans on building up their new associations with Allstars United SC of California and Icelandic club KR Reykjavik.
In the video above we cover the club’s efforts to expand their scouting network and establish a player exchange initiative with Atlanta, while also using the relationship to grow their commercial revenue, and learn lessons in fan engagement and stadium design.
The trio also explain why the Dons’ partnerships with grassroots outfit Allstars and Icelenadic top-flight club Reykjavik should matter to supporters.
