Aberdeen hope to fend off growing interest in teenager Lewis Pirie by convincing him to sign his first professional contract with the club.
Wolves have joined the growing list of admirers for the 15 year-old who came off the bench to score the winner in his side-s 3-2 win against Queen’s Park in the Scottish Youth Cup on Friday.
Wolves have reportedly joined a host of clubs in England on the trail of the teenager with Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion and Everton both keeping tabs as well as Championship side Sheffield United.
Pirie is eligible to sign his first professional terms in January when he turns 16 and the Dons are eager to keep the forward.
Pirie has been in outstanding form for the young Dons this season with his winner on Friday taking his tally to 33 for the season for club and country.
