Aberdeen’s League Cup final hero Paul Mason will be joined by several of his former Dons team-mates in helping Andy Considine celebrate his testimonial later this month.
Mason, who scored both goals in Aberdeen’s 2-1 win against Rangers in 1989, has agreed to feature in a half-time veteran’s game at Pittodrie in Considine’s testimonial match against FC Twente on Friday, March 27.
The Englishman will be joined by former team-mates Theo Snelders, Willem van der Ark, Bobby Connor and Brian Irvine while former Dons Arild Stavrum and Eugene Dadi have also agreed to play.
The former players will join teams featuring Dons supporters, one of which will be lifelong supporter, broadcaster Richard Gordon.
Tickets are on sale now for the game, priced from £10 to £16 for adults with concessions available from £7 to £12. Under-12 admission is £6.
